TULSA--Sheilah Ndasym has been named Summit League women's cross country athlete of the week, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Ndasym earns her first career cross country honor after running a 22:06.95 6k time, the Summit's fastest 6k time of the season, at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree.  She earned an 11th-place finish among runners from a trio of Midwest regionally ranked teams, No. 6 Kansas State, No. 10 Oklahoma State, No. 13 Oklahoma, and South Central regionally ranked No. 9 TCU.

The ORU men and women's cross country squads next participate in the Richard Clark Invitational, Saturday, oct. 2 in Springfield, Mo.
