TULSA, Okla.-For the second time in three weeks, the ORU cross country teams will compete in one of the largest meets in America. Two weeks ago it was the OSU Cowboy Jamboree, and this week it will be the Chile Pepper Festival, hosted by the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark.

The men's 10k race is scheduled to start at 9:45 a.m. with the women's 6k race scheduled for 10:30 a.m. The festival will also include an open 10k at 7:45 a.m. with a fun run also taking place prior to the collegiate races. High school and junior high races will follow the conclusion of the college races, extending into the middle of the afternoon.

Nearly 40 colleges and universities will be competing in the meet, which will present new challenges for both the men's and women's teams. Neither team has competed this year at the distances of the Chile Pepper (10k/6k).

More information on the meet can be found at http://www.chilepepperfestival.org/
