Radcliff Finishes 22nd to Lead Golden Eagles at NCAA Regional Meet

DEKALB, Ill.-Senior Kristen Radcliff proved she belongs with the best in the country as she finished 22nd overall in a loaded field at the 2011 NCAA Midwest Regional Cross Country Meet, hosted by Northern Illinois on Saturday.

Radcliff's 21:41.91 time put her ahead of all but one runner from Oklahoma State, who finished second as a team to Iowa State. Radcliff was also the top Summit League finisher in the region. As a team, ORU finished 20th overall with 509 points and an average time of 23:25.40.

Sheilah Ndasym ran 22:28.74 to finish 54th overall, while Samantha Watson finished 125th overall with a time of 23:24.66.

Marta Adamiec ran 23:39.68 to finish 137th, and Casady Ashcraft ran 25:52.00 to finish 181th overall.

The meet was the last one of the season for ORU, who will now turn focus to the indoor track and field season
