TULSA-Claire Nicholson scored a pair of goals to lead Tulsa to a 4-0 win over Oral Roberts, Sunday at Hurricane Soccer Stadium.
Tulsa opened the scoring in the first half when Nicholson knocked a looping header just past the reach of ORU keeper Amanda Wheeler in the 31st minute.
Shelby Martin gave Tulsa a 2-0 lead eight minutes later when her free kick made it past Wheeler in the 38th minute.
Tulsa put the game out of reach when Rachel Garcia scored in the 59th minute for a 3-0 lead. Nicholson added her second goal in the 88th minute for the final score.
Wheeler finished the match with five saves for ORU. Katie Bykowski made four saves for the Golden Hurricane.
The Golden Eagles next host Missouri State, 7 p.m., Friday.
