Grados Named First Team All-Summit League

TULSA, Okla.-Senior Midfielder Maria Grados, who led the Summit League in goals scored and points in 2011, was named First Team All-League on Thursday. Grados scored nine goals this season, including a league-leading five game winning goals. Grados finished her career at ORU with 49 career points, 19 goals, 11 assists, and seven game winning goals while appearing in 65 career matches. She Ranks in the school's top-10 all-time for career goals and game winning goals. This was the first time Grados had been named to the All-League team.

Two Golden Eagles were also named to the All-Freshman team. Keeper Helen Erb and midfielder Shelbi Lousch earned the honors after having solid debuts for the Golden Eagles. Erb led all freshman keepers with 45 saves, 13 goals allowed, and a 1.68 goals allowed average in 13 games played. Lousch contributed two assists and seven shots in 17 matches while playing mostly defense in her first season.

The Golden Eagles finished 2011 with a 7-10-2 record and fifth in the Summit League.
