Randy Williams Hired as New Assistant Coach

Tulsa, Okla. - The ORU women's soccer team and head coach Ryan Bush are pleased to announce the hiring of Randy Williams as a full-time assistant coach.

Williams is entering his second season as an assistant coach for the ORU Women's soccer team but his first as a full-time assistant. He brings 10 years of coaching experience and over 23 years of playing experience to the Golden Eagles.

Williams got his coaching start as assistant men's coach and head women's coach at Harrah Public schools from 2000-2004. He then served as graduate assistant for Oklahoma City University Soccer from 2004-2005 before becoming the assistant coach for the Jenks high school men's soccer team and the head coach of the Jenks junior varsity squad.

He served a short stint as the Director of Soccer Operations at the University of Oklahoma from 2008-2009 before joining the Golden Eagles as a part-time assistant in 2010.

Beside his regular coaching experience, Williams has also worked as a Soccer coach for summer camps at the University of Texas and Baylor University.

Williams, a 2004 graduate of Oklahoma City University, was a four year starter and captain of the OCU Men's soccer team in 2002 and 2003. He was also an All-Region 1st team and honorable mention All-American in 2000.

Williams has a bachelor's degree in English Literature and masters in Business Administration from the Oklahoma City University.
