Tulsa, Okla. - ORU Women's Soccer and head coach Ryan Bush are pleased to announce the signing of four players during the national signing period. Kayla Keller, Maddie Rhodes, Ashley Martin, and Mariah Morgan will all compete for the Golden Eagles in 2012.

"We are extremely excited to add these four to our soccer family," Said Bush, "They bring a wealth of ability and talent. Along with competing at the highest levels on the soccer field, they are also excellent in the classroom. I am extremely pleased to be adding four student-athletes that possess the work ethic and character of these young women. They will be an excellent addition to our soccer family and will help continue the success or our soccer program."

Ashley Martin and Maddie Rhodes are both Tulsa natives and teammates at Union High School. Rhodes was a four-time letter winner as a goalkeeper for the Redskins, and was named the 2008 junior varsity MVP and the Union Outstanding Keeper of the Year in 2009. She was named to the 6A All-District team in 2011. She helped lead Union to two consecutive state championship games in 2010 and 2011. Rhodes was named captain of her club team '94 Blitz United in 2008 and named MVP in 2009. She was keeper for 16 tournament championships and five second place finishes.

"Maddie is an excellent athlete and has a great ethic," said Bush. "She has the ability to get side to side and cover a wide range of the goal. She has a lot of upside and will compete for playing time straight away."

Martin was also a four-time letter winner as a defender at Union, and helped lead the Redskins to All-Metro and All-District championships. She also led her club team TSC '94 in scoring in 2011.  "Ashley is an extremely technical player," Added Bush. "She has the ability to hit the ball from distance and is very creative in tight situations. She is excellent in the air as well as being strong in the tackle. She has a knack for the goal and is a great finisher inside the attacking third. She will be a great addition to our attack."

Mariah Morgan, a senior at Klein Oak high school in Spring, Texas, was the anchor for Klein Oak's 2009, 2010, and 2011 district championships. Her Club team, Challenge '94, won the ECNL National Championship in 2011.

"Mariah joins us from the prestigious Challenge soccer club," said Bush. "Obviously adding a player that has won a national championship says enough about the type of player she is. Mariah is extremely tenacious in the tackle and is very good in the air. She will be a great addition to a very strong backline."

Kayla Keller also hails from Tulsa, where she attends Regent Preparatory school. Keller, who will play forward for ORU, was a multi-sport start in high school, lettering twice in volleyball and leading her team to consecutive state championships. She also lettered twice in basketball and was named first team all-conference in 2011.

"Kayla will be an excellent addition to the team. She is extremely versatile and can play anywhere on the field," said Bush "She is an excellent athlete, tenacious and has good speed. Kayla is another one that competes in the prestigious National League. As well she was one of few players from the state of Oklahoma to get selected to the 2011 Olympic development regional pool."
