ORU women earn NSCAA Academic Award

TULSA, Okla. - Not only were the Oral Roberts women's soccer team successful on the pitch this season, but they also got the job done in the classroom, earning a 3.27 average GPA as a team.
This accomplishment helped the Golden Eagle women earn the National Soccer Coaches Association of American Team Academic Award. It is the second time in program history they have received the award, doing so for the first time in 2003.
Of the eligible student-athletes for the Golden Eagles, a total of 13 had a 3.0 or higher prior to the fall semester, including All-Southland selections Jennifer Abernathy, Lauren Parks, Allison Hall, Whitney Booth and Helen Erb.
