TULSA, Okla. – Not only was the Oral Roberts women's soccer team successful on the pitch this season, but the Golden Eagles also got the job done in the classroom, earning a 3.35 average GPA as a team.

The accomplishment helped the Golden Eagle women earn the National Soccer Coaches Association of American Team Academic Award. It is the second time in as many seasons the Golden Eagles have received the award, and the third time overall, doing so for the first time in 2003.

A total of 13 had a 3.0 or higher prior to the fall semester, including All-Southland selections Jennifer Abernathy, Jordan Parsons, Kayla Keller and Leah Bickers.

ORU reached the Southland Conference Tournament semifinals and finished the season with a 15-4-1 overall record, setting the school record for most wins in a season.
