In his 16th year as ORU’s NCAA faculty representative, Terry Unruh ensures the academic integrity and institutional control of the ORU athletic department.

Unruh is an assistant professor of accounting at ORU, where he has been teaching since 1980. He served on several committees, and has been co-advisor for the Accounting Society since 1980.

In the 1983-84, 1989-90, and 2003-04 academic years, he was named ORU’s Outstanding Faculty Member.

From 1978-80, he was a baseball coach, faculty sponsor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and an accounting instructor at Friends University in Wichita, Kan.

Unruh is a certified public accountant who earned his B.S. and M.B.A. from ORU. From 1974-77, he pitched for the ORU baseball team.

He has been married since 1977 to the former Kim Clift. They have one child, 19-year-old Andrea.
