Adam Hermann was hired just prior to the 2011-12 competition year as ORU's Director of Sports Performance, and is in his third season with the Golden Eagles.
Hermann came to ORU from Central Michigan, where he served as the Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning, working mainly with men's and women's basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball. He also designed and directed the nutrition education program for the Olympic sports while at CMU.
Hermann was part of the athletic department at former Summit League rival North Dakota State from 2004-10, working as both a graduate assistant and the assistant strength and conditioning coach. While at NDSU, Hermann worked with each of the Bison athletic teams, including the national powerhouse football program.
He graduated from Northern Michigan University with a B.S. in health education. Hermann has his Level 1 Sports Performance Certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, adult CPR certified and earned Bronze Level Coach status with USA wrestling in 2001.
