TULSA, Okla.-The Oral Roberts women's soccer program released its 2012 fall schedule, it was announced Tuesday by Head Coach Ryan Bush.

With eight home games on the 19-game schedule, the 2012 slate includes four non-conference home games and four home games as part of the team's inaugural season in the Southland Conference. The Golden Eagles will hold one scrimmage on August 10 before opening up the season at home against North Texas on August 17.

"We are very excited about our 2012 schedule," said Bush. "Moving into the Southland Conference will be difficult but we know the team is looking forward to the challenge."

Following the North Texas opener, ORU will face a familiar foe during a trip to Kansas City to face UMKC on August 19. They will stay on the road to play SMU on August 24 before a three-game homestand with Rogers State (August 26), Northwestern State (August 31) and Missouri State (September 2).

On the road for the next six, the Golden Eagles head to Norman and Tulsa on September 9 and 14, respectively, and then to Mississippi Valley State on September 16. A trip to Omaha, Neb., to play Nebraska-Omaha and Creighton finishes up the non-conference portion of the schedule.

Southland Conference play will begin on the road for the women's soccer team as they face Stephen F. Austin on September 30. The home conference opener will be Northwestern State on October 5.

The 2012 Southland Conference Tournament will be held in Lake Charles, La., on November 1-4.

All home games will be played at the Case Soccer Complex on the ORU campus.
