Bridgett Tabor joined Oral Roberts in July 2010, and serves as the Director of Athletic Academics/Degree Advancement.
In her current position, she is responsible for administering complete oversight of academic, eligibility and advisory needs for track & field, cross country and women's soccer. She also assists with baseball, volleyball and men's basketball.
Tabor also helps coordinate tutoring and study hall, and is the Minority-Diversity Coordinator and Life Skills Outreach Coordinator.
In addition to her work in the academic office, Tabor is the ORU Ethnic Clubs Committee Chairperson and also serves on the Multi-Cultural & Intercultural Relations Committee.
Prior to coming to ORU, Tabor spent two years at the University of Nebraska Athletic Department, where she served in three different areas, providing counseling to 50 student-athletes in track & field, women's basketball and football. She assisted with recruiting tours and communicated with faculty, staff and coaches to monitor progress and athletic eligibility. Tabor was also a tutor and graduate researcher at Nebraska.
A graduate of Fort Valley State University in Georgia, Tabor got her bachelor's degree in business management before earning her master's degree in athletic administration from Nebraska.
