TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts men's soccer team reached out into the community on Sunday afternoon, serving during the Tulsa First United Methodist Church's open house in Downtown Tulsa.
As a part of the activities, the student-athletes interacted with church members, visitors and ORU fans. Guests at the event received a "passport," which if they were one of the first 100 to have signatures from a student-athete and five-of-eight pastors, they would receive a prize.
The student-athletes also took part in supporting the children and youth in the church who put on small performances throughout the church facility, before wrapping up their afternoon at the FUMC college facility for an autograph session.
