TULSA, Okla.-After a conference realignment announcement nearly 15 months ago, Southland Conference play will begin for the Oral Roberts men's basketball team as they face Southeastern Louisiana on Thursday night at University Center in Hammond, La. The Golden Eagles and Lions are scheduled to tip off at 7:15 p.m. and will follow the conclusion of the ORU/SLU women's basketball game.

Thursday's game will be broadcast live in the Tulsa area on 97.1 FM "The Sports Animal." Free audio will also be provided at www.ORUGoldenEagles.com and video ($) will be provided at LionSports.net.  

ORU begins conference play on the road as they face Southeastern Louisiana for the first time in school history. ORU is coming off a tough nonconference schedule, playing nine of the first 12 games on the road, posting a 5-7 record over that span. Southeastern Louisiana is 2-8, but both wins came at home, notching victories over Louisiana College and, most recently, Spring Hill College.
