TULSA, Okla. - Oral Roberts knocked around 12 hits with five players recording two each, but big innings from Dallas Baptist overtake the Golden Eagles on Sunday, 13-6.

Jose Trevino had a big day at the plate with two hits and driving in three runs. Equaling Trevino in the hit column was Tyler Boss with a pair of hits and two runs batted in and Brandon Healy added two hits and scored once.

Logan Domenico accounted for four of the Golden Eagles six runs on the afternoon, singling twice, driving in a runner and scoring three times. Getting the call for the second straight game behind the plate, freshman Sam Parker picked up his first career hit in the second inning, adding another later in the ball game.

Sunday's loss marked the first since the opening series of 2012 against Baylor that the Golden Eagles were swept in a three-game set, and the first time an opponent has taken three at J.L. Johnson Stadium since San Francisco did so in March of 2006.

After four innings of play, the Golden Eagles looked to be in control of the contest, taking a 5-2 lead into the fifth after putting three on the board in the bottom of the fourth.

Kevin Cho, Parker and Healy each reached three straight one-out singles to load the bases in the home half of the fourth. Domenico stepped in with the bases loaded, sending a pitch into right for yet another single, scoring Cho. Two batters later, Trevino drove the ball into left, plating both Parker and Healy.

The first ORU runner crossed the plate in the first inning, already down 2-0. Boss drove in Domenico who drew a four pitch walk to lead the game for the Golden Eagles.

In the third, Boss plated Domenico again. Just like in the first, Domenico drew a walk to start the inning, scoring on a fielder's choice off the bat of Boss.

ORU held the lead until the sixth inning when the Patriots plated four runs on just two hits and an error. Golden Eagle pitchers combined to walk four Patriots, two with the bases loaded, and hit another with runners standing on each base.

In the bottom of the inning, the Golden Eagles stopped the bleeding quickly with a run of their own. Domenico crossed the plate for the third time on the afternoon after singling, ultimately scoring on a sacrifice fly from Trevino.

The Patriots added a run in the top of the seventh. But the eighth inning was when the wheels came off for the Golden Eagles, allowing six runs on five hits and two throwing errors to extend the Patriot lead to the eventual spread, 13-6.

Justin Wall was the big hitter on the afternoon for DBU with four hits, including a double and home run, three runs batted in, scored three times and drew a walk. Austin Listi also drove in three runners and scored twice.

Nathan Garza was the losing pitcher for the Golden Eagles, dropping his record to 0-2 in 2013. Tim Zufall started the contest opposite of Collinsville, Okla., native Cory Taylor.

The Golden Eagles (5-9) look to snap the longest losing skid since March of last season against a Big 12 opponent on Tuesday as they travel to face Texas. The game is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast locally on The Sports Animal and broadcast on the Longhorn Network.
